It is perhaps the world's best known secret, or at least a good fling is just a mouse click away. Ever since the internet was introduced a little over a decade ago, it has played a matchmaker to hopeful singles and "singles" hopefully.

We may have all heard about the story of someone who knows someone who knows someone who married someone they met in the internet. But internet seduction extends further than mere chatting, thanks to the invention of online communities.

My guy friend is 21 years old and believes in online dating. He admits to actively use social networking site to meet people he can date. He is being seduced by merely seeing their pictures. He wants to date them, feel their aroma, caress them, hug them, kiss them, everything. I don't know if he's crazy but can't he realize, those pictures may not be the real people he is meeting? He keeps on telling me that he falls in love with someone in the internet because she is very pretty and sexy. I just do not know what advice to give him to stop his craziness. Isn't it weird that he imagines to caress those girls when we don't even know if those pictures are really those girls or if they truly exist.

Anyway, this is not actually a problem if he can go on normally with his life. But he can't. He just keeps on wanting to do crazy stuff, like kissing them or caress them. That's so pathetic! I explained to him that the internet really has the power to do anything. And those girls just make wise use of it. They advertise themselves by posting sexy pictures. Well, they may be those sexy girls but I mean, nothing compares to dating personally. Besides, how will he be able to smell their aroma if they are just dating online. I believe aroma of girls is my friend's weakness. So in my conclusion, he should better stop dreaming about those women because they might not be true, and his dreams will just continue to be dreams and nothing but dreams!
