I am only22 years old and already have met the love of my life and just last week she became my wife. It all began on a fateful evening when we were both part of a speed dating event that took place in my town. I had gone with a bunch of friends and she had gone alone. I had been hoping to meet several girls but more for regular dating and nothing serious. She was supposed to go with a girlfriend who had recently broken up with her boyfriend and needed some encouragement, but the friend had not shown up at the last minute leaving Stacy, my wife alone at this speed dating event.

So there we both were in this large group of people and when it came time to have our time together she immediately charmed the pants off of me. She was kind of shy very sweet and had the most beautiful smile I had ever seen. We had 10 minutes to talk and when it was time to change partners I felt like telling her to walk out of the speed dating place with me. As I saw her move on to the next partner I promised myself that I would see her again. There was no way that I was going to let this wonderful woman out of my life forever.

I was lucky when later in the week she agreed to go out with me. We had several conversations and she was still very shy but I could tell she kind of liked me to. A month later we began seeing each other exclusively and began a courtship full of love and passion. My fiends would tease me about getting so serious but all I knew was that I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life. The stopped inviting me to the speed dating events and began to accept that their friend was falling in love.

It only took me 6 months to pop the question and now we have been married one whole week. I have never been happier and we plan on starting a family in a few years. My friends continue their girl hunts at the speed dating events but they know that I did the right thing. As for me and my wife we are happy and can’t wait to live the rest of our lives together.
