I felt quite lonely being a vegan and was keen to meet some more vegan friends. My friend Rosie showed me a magazine with an advert for a dating site. The dating site was called Vegan Romance. I thought that the Vegan Romance dating site sounded just what I needed.
I created my profile and Rosie helped me upload some photos of myself to it. I soon got messages from some females seeking other vegan friends and some vegan males looking for romance. I sent messages to ten different members on the dating site.
I arranged to meet up with Alex from North London. He came all the way down to Kent to meet up with me. We went to a car boot sale. We had a lovely walk along the pebbly beaches. He was a kind and thoughtful friend. There wasn't any romance between us.
I met up with Greg from Surrey and we had three dates. Our first date was in Canterbury and we visited cathedral. Our second date was in London. I liked to hold his hand and feel so much excitement. We kissed overlooking Tower Bridge. On our third date I could sense something was wrong. Greg said that he still wasn't over splitting up with his ex-girlfriend. He didn't feel that he was ready for another relationship.
I became corresponding with Dean from Manchester. He seemed really lovely in his emails and I felt we had so much in common. Three weeks later he asked if he could meet up with him. So I wrote back pointing our the distance. He stayed at a bed and breakfast in Dover. We walked the White Cliffs of Dover together. It was so magical to be with the most sexy most man that I had ever met. Wow!
Dean and I began a long distance romance. It was so amazing to come up to Manchester one weekend and then for him to come down to Canterbury the next weekend. We got on like a house on fire. We fell totally in love. We knew the we were soul mates that would be in love forever. We carried on dating for eight months. Then all of a sudden we began to get on badly. We split up and it was so incredibly hurtful. A year later we met up again and knew that we wanted to be together always. So we have moved in together.
