My best friend Ana met Justin her sexy and oh so sweet boyfriend on an adult dating site over a year ago. It's almost sickening to see how totally perfect they are suited for each other. Looking at them you would think they you are watching one of those adult dating site commercials that they run so much on TV. In fact they would be perfect as one of those true life couples that they have on thecommercialsbecause looking at them you can see how great a job the site did in matching the two of them up.

Ever since they met Ana has been trying to talk me into joining the same adult dating site that they met on but I am really iffy about the whole thing. It's not that I wouldn't like to have my own partner and be as happy as she is, its just that after a few really bad relationships I am afraid of putting myself out there again and getting hurt. My last boyfriend was the worst, I had been dating him for 8 months and as soon as he found out that I was pregnant he moved back to him home town and married his ex girlfriend. Before him I had been dating a guy from college and one day I found out he had been seeing my best friend behind my back all along. So those two relationships kind of ruined me for any new ones. I don't think that I can trust men and I truly don't know if I ever will be able to.

Sometimes when I look at Ana and Justin I do wish that I could find someone just like she did. Ana says that I should take them as an example that having a healthy and loving relationship is possible. I see it and I see how they can have it but with my horrible luck I will probably sign up to the adult dating site, meet a guy that seems great and fall in love only to have him leave me as soon as I am completely attached to him. I can not risk that, I think I would rather be alone for ever than having to face the pain of heart break once again. So I won't be joining the site anytime soon, maybe in a few months I will change my mind but for now I will stick to being alone.
